Aditya, albeit handsome, is a bad actor and can you imagine him mouthing Urdu romantic dialogues with regal aura! 😆
An young SRK could have brought in the passion esp opposite Ash but he looks nothing like a Turkish/Persian prince. But Shahjahan had more than 50% Indo genes so who knows!

some newcomer played Shahjahan in the 2005 film, his wig dragged his look down. Kabir bedi played old shahjahan.
