I was rooting for La La Land but seeing how much hatred it's been getting just for being a musical with white people is just wrong -SJWs bullying and berating people if they didn't like Moonlight calling people racist and homophobic 🥱 like stfu and let people enjoy movies FFS, not every story has to be a gritty violent one, LLL was sweet and simple and yet people were so damn wrong towards it.

I'm glad that they handled the mix up gracious though, even though it took away from noth cast and crew moments. Super happy for Viola and Emma 😳 👏

they have two cards made though, Emma had hers because they give one for the winners to keep and the other I guess it's for safe keeping. Someone backstage must've mixed the cards

i'm sure they make two cards for each category just in case one gets misplaced, so they must hav given the other Best Actress card to the presenters of the best picture category

Damien so deserves it I was vouching for him to win it and for la la land to win the original sound track and both my wishes came true 😃 Emma's win is like cherry on top. Haven't seen Moonlight so can't comment Upon how it was or whether it was a deserving winner but I personally really enjoyed la la land it was a very satisfying watch so what if it's a musical it's a brilliantly made one with outstanding music and beautiful direction. The direction is what made the movie stand out and Damien deserves full credit for it coz the story is quite simple but it's told very beautifully. So yeah I would've been super happy had it won best picture coz I had an amazing time watching it and I can watch it over and over again.

I'm talking about the Moonlight fans on tumblr especially who are bullying people and calling them racist and homophobic for supporting LLL because its "white mediocrity"😕like are you freaking shitting me??? LLL has been the front runner for most of award season and just because it has white actors and is a musical that is a sweet story about LA doesnt mean it isnt worthy of best pictire...this idiotic racist bullshit SJ nonsense is why people dont take SJW's seriously🥱like spread your energies into some real social justice not some bullshit awards that dont even matter in the long run

These people are literally spreading lies and hatred to the LLL team for LOSING so graciously, calling them white mediocre people compared to the "superior" artsy
Moonlight team like STFU and get off your high horse, both movies did a great job but you cannot insult
one movie like that,people are allowed to like both movies

that I agree with just because a movie isn't very serious and talking about serious issues doesn't mean that isn't worthy of praise. Art isn't limited to a specific genre or way of storytelling it's all about expression it has no boundaries and it has no limits it can be expressed in different ways to convey different emotions and they all can be appreciated for what they are no need to bring one movie down to make another one look better. Different things appeals to different people if people dissing moonlight are rascists then what would you call those who judge the ones who like la la land because it has white people in it? Is it not rascist as well what has art got to do with it? Can people not like and appreciate two good movies for what they are without making a social issue out of it?
