I was talking about the general state of Hollywood, and why Bollywood actors (especially these young guns) should stop going ga-ga over Hollywood and their stars. Ranbir Kapoor takes it to another level of stalking (the whole Tarantino incident).

I'm not an actor. But even as a fan, I wouldn't even approach them f I came across the Khans or Scorsese, and such people. If the platform is right (educational, press conference, interactions), then sure - I'd love to ask them about cinema. Nonetheless, you have Bollywood actors having orgasms when they meet Hollywood people. Just strange behavior.

And, the worst part is that they hate it when common fans in India do the same to them. Such hypocrites.

Agreed. Indian Film Industry is the largest film industry in the world. Just because some people like PC and Deepika want validation there, it doesn't mean they're superior and we should all worship them. The market is huge because of the language. Yet, if you look at the quality of movies, world cinema is far and ahead of Hollywood.

Hollywood is the most liberal place in the world for Americans/Whites, but it's very discriminating of other races. African Americans still make it big because they're still Americans at the end of the day. Any other race gets stereotyped.

Not blaming what happened to PC on racism, she is at fault too and they say classism is well and alive in Britain

But otherwise it's true... What's rankling is they accuse others of racism at the drop of a hat, they wag their fingers at others, so those disgusting, pill-popping, sexual deviant scums(this was Ricky Gervais' opening monologue during 2016 Golden globes) can feel better about themselves

Even the black characters in HW movies, it's so obvious that they're there purely for PC(political correctness NOT priyanka chopra) Even Wendy Williams( popular African American talk show host)

mentioned this, she said that's even more insulting...

I am not sure how we ended up on racism and classism in Hollywood (Mick Jagger is a middle class English boy turned rock star) but Hollywood has been very welcoming to PC, they care less about her skin color and accent than this forum. Hollywood is far more progressive than the rest of America There are not as many people of color as white people on TV or in films but they are there and many of them are great characters on great shows and in great films.

I agree that this incident is not about racism...

But about HW not being racist - Several Black actors disagree

There are several examples, here's a very interesting article about how one promising black artist's career is destroyed for some mistakes he made, while lily-white Roman Polanski and Casey Affleck are hailed by the same Hypocrite HW even though they committed the same crimes

White actors playing minority characters has been going on in HW since it's birth and continues even now, from Chinese, Korean, Indian, Mexican, To Native Amercans( hasn't America done enough to them?) To Blacks...

And if it's mixed race character they always make sure only a white actor plays that...
