Bigg Boss 19: Daily Discussion Thread - 8th Oct '25
On Friday, we were the first ones to inform you that Varun Dhawan andShoojit Sircar are teaming up for a film. This will be the first time theBadlapur star will be working with the Piku director.
Now, Shoojit Sircar has confirmed the project. While talking to Catch news, Shoojit said, "I cannot speak on it right now. Varun and I are still talking and discussing the script. Yes, we both are excited; soon I will announce more details about it. Definitely, it is going to be an unconventional film. Varun has met us a couple of times. I find him nice and I am excited about starting something new."
Varun who's shooting for Judwaa 2 will begin work on Shoojit's film right after he's done with his dad David Dhawan's film. Piku writer Juhi Chaturvedi will be writing this rather dark film. "Juhi and I are coming together after Piku and Vicky Donor, that is really exciting for me. Juhi is writing the film and we both have worked on the script," he revealed to the portal.

What was the verdict of dishoom. You're right about Dilwale but it was a smart commercial move just didn't pay off
