One was the most baqwas movie.
That time Sharukh had a record of breaking engagements. DDLJ, Dil to pagal hei, Pardes. (My sister used to tell me, "If it was a real guy, how much people would have hated him. But here we love him"). I had liked those movies. But Sharukh's character had genuinely fallen in love with each of them. But not in KKHH. I hated Sharukh and that daughter both, passionately. 😆. That girl was saying to Salman, "You are handsome, you can get any girl". So did Anjali. Why should she get married to Rahul? In one scene Anjali tells her mom, "Only first love is love. Rest are all compromise". What about Aman? Because she was his first love, he should go for compromise next. The word love was just used for convenience in the whole movie. That's why, even now it irritates me.Salman was not that that big star as Karan is making it out to be. Dil to paagal hei had Akki in a guest role. If Akki had become as big as Salman today, one can't say he was generous then. He happened to be there. That's it. (But in the movie, I shipped Salman-Kajol).
