both are so versatile, have had hit movies when the script and songs are good. every movie hit I think is about the songs, if the songs are hits, the movie is hit. katrina, ranbir, varun, aalia all have been lucky to get movies with good songs.

shahid has had bad luck with the big production houses yrf and kjo with shaandar( where the good songs were massacred by the horrible script), and in shahid case he has very poor script sense, his big films end up having such poor scripts though he never is bad in any movie, even in such weak films like shandaar and phata poster, he was amazing in the songs. shahid can do comedy, drama, dance, everything and does have the good looks too, and even action in kaminey and r rajkumar.

and saif is just too underrated and again bad film choices, not even the khans would be as good as him in parineeta, omkara, hum tum, i thought he overshadowed aamir in dil chahta hain, was so much better than the hamming srk in kal ho na ho. the only one he didn't overshadow was salman in hssh, but held his own.

they've just haven't had the blockbusters that varun, ranbir and even ranveer with bm has.

why does ranveer get film after film after lootere, gunday, kill dil, befikre.

why was befikre adi and vaani 's flop not ranveer's?

why does arjun get any movies, which blockbuster has he had?

and really is varun other than is youth better than shahid and saif?

saif was adorable as youthful philanderer in cocktail, just few years ago. he is one hero who has wonderful chemistry with actresses from rani to deepika

Rangoon is a debacle as it grossed 19.25 crore nett in its first week and joins that disaster list of the past few years which includes Bombay Velvet, Broken Horses, Fitoor, Rock On 2 and Mirzya. The weekend was very dull but the crash on Monday was something that has not been seen before. The film is being screened at multiplexes in big cities on 1-2 shows in the second week and the collections will hardly be anything. The first week collections of the film compare with the following films of last year and all these films are far smaller than Rangoon and its likely the lifetime of Rangoon will stay below all of them

Sanam Re (2016) - 19,48,00,000

Rangoon (2017) - 19,25,00,000 apprx

Sarabjit (2016) - 18,95,00,000

Rocky Handsome (2016) - 18,69,00,000

Happy Bhaag Jayegi (2016) - 17,48,00,000

All the above films crossed from 2016 crossed 21 crore nett and that may be a huge task for Rangoon. It will also stay below OK Jaanu released earlier this year which grossed 21.32 crore nett.
