She showed great potential in Jhoom Barabar Jhoom, her performance was really great. Unfortunately it seemed like she wasn't really passionate about her career like Sushmita. She comes across as super intelligent on KWK but has aged really badly after marriage.

Actually she did have the passion and drive to be an actor and reach the top but unfortunately due to choosing bad scripts after Andaaz, she failed. She said many times that she just couldn't find what the audience liked her as and what kind of an actor she could be. Than she had a breakthrough with the movies No Entry and Masti where she got the opportunity to indulge in comic roles and succeed. Finally she thought she could be the Juhi Chawla of this generation but it was too late for her and she had long lost her footing in BW cause PC, Rani, Preity were all rising and she couldn't build a strong career by than.

She is actually a very smart, intelligent woman and has gorgeous features with a very unique complexion. I think she really could have succeeded if she had a godfather to guide her the right way. Her performances in No Entry and Jhoom Barabar Jhoom were top notch and highlight of the movies.

So she was heartbroken, became a home wrecker and married an obnoxious tennis player

Career wise saying no to 'Matrix' was her big mistake 😛

Priyanka Chopra is hot, Lara Dutta is not. Sushmita and Lara have good communication skills, they could have been good VJs, but actresses? Nah, they aint cut out for that.

I LOVE HER. She should've made it big, I hope she continues acting in BW and will not disappear entirely :)

however I disagree that she's more talented than PC.. Looked better than PC back then, yes.

I think Lara is hot like having a hot bod nd nice smile - good sports illustrated material but lacks warmth, charm and connecting to the audience as an actress...

But she connected well with much married bhupati and settled now 😊
