Salman K & Siddharth M to team up for a Film

Salman Khan has always openly expressed his fondness for Sidharth Malhotra. So, it doesn't really come as a surprise, when we hear that the actor-producer has decided to cast the younger actor in his next production venture. Says a source, "When Salman decided to create his own production house, he did so with the intention of making great content-oriented commercial films with leading Bollywood stars." And now, our khabri tells us he's approached Sid for a film. "Salman's banner has liked a script. It isn't a biopic in the truest sense, but is based on a real-life incident. They plan to cast Sidharth as the hero." Although a little hesitant, Sid finally admits, "His production house is making a lot of movies. We are in talks. But nothing is confirmed, so I cannot officially talk about anything now."

Reminds us how during the success bash of Ek Villain, Salman had called Sid a diamond' as he had said, "Yeh hira hai, pata nahin kahan chupa tha. Earlier he may not have got enough credit for his work but with Ek Villain he is going to shine and will get more noticed." Indeed, his words are turning out to be true as Sid for all that you know is doing pretty well with the films that he's choosing.


Sidharth has just begun shooting for Ittefaq; after wrapping up his next release, "Reloaded)(Bang Bang sequel) co-starring Jacqueline Fernandez.
