She has known him and has dated him before he had done any serials! Anyone who knows a little about them as a couple would also know that her family is and was very well to do as compared to his financial status at the time. I talked about it in response to what was stated here. As for her credentials as an interior designer , I have no way to verify as I ain't a client but have seen remarks by folks who don't need to praise her but have praised her for her work!

It's really funny that everyone talks as if they know everything here especially the ones who makes things up based on interviews where the other person isn't even mentioned. Creating fantasies in their heads is not the same thing as facts.

Yep Gauri was definitely rich when she married SRK. I know Delhi immensely well & her house is in a rather posh part of Delhi too, and owning factories is no joke. She did marry SRK when he was a poor-middle class telly actor with no definite future but just oodles of ambition, drive & talent. He was a talented nobody. Whoever also says that SRK had money, NOPE. He never had money, his father just knew the right people which in itself, is an art. People believe SRK lies just because he is today very rich & super-famous but he isn't. He really was middle-class even despite his St Columbia, Jamia education & after his father's death they saw terrible times. That isn't a lie. What is also true is that no-one would've seen him if he didn't possess this power or money.

You know what is funny Shahrukh is himself on record stating in one of his interviews that he completely gets where Gauri's parents were coming from when it came to their courtship and them deciding to marry at the time they did. He infact went to the extent of stating that he ain't sure that he himself would want Suhana to marry a person who was a struggling actor the way he was when Gauri married him. That to me spoke volumes about the kind of lengths both Gauri and Shahrukh went to when it came to being with each other. Not to mention to shift to a different place altogether , not because you wanted to but because the person you married wanted to shift to that place so that he could pursue acting in movies requires a whole lot of selflessness man!
