Ranbir to Replace Amitabh as KBC Host?

When Kaun Banega Crorepati' first aired in the year 2000, the entire nation turned towards the small screen at 9pm sharp--just to get a glimpse of the legend Amitabh Bachchan, interacting with the common man or woman.

Except for season three in which Shah Rukh Khan hosted the show, the mega star Amitabh Bachchan has hosted all the seasons of the game show.

However, recent reports suggest that the next season of KBC will see a change of host as well. Ranbir Kapoor will be hosting the game show Kaun Banega Crorepati' in the next season, sources have revealed.

Well. this will be the first time if Ranbir will decides to host a TV show. He would also be first in the Kapoor clan to do so.

But as of now, the way things are standing, the rumors about Ranbir Kapoor replacing Amitabh Bachchan to be hosting the next season of Kaun Banega Crorepati' seems more like a market buzz.

In an interview in 2013, Ranbir Kapoor said, "It's a good thing that TV is doing really well. I like Salman Khan's Bigg Boss, Amitji's (Amitabh Bachchan) Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC). If given a chance, I would like to do a quiz show like KBC. I would like to explore TV as well."

Well, Ranbir Kapoor is superb and delight to watch but can he make a good KBC host?

I quite like the idea of RK as a host, I wonder how he'll do as a host because he generally doesn't come off as having that much instant charisma like say, a Shah or AB. He's definitely really charming though so I think he add his own value to KBC. It'll add a little youth to the show too.
