because I don't know if they understand but after steppping out from the theatre, what remains our mind are the emotional sequences, not vfx magic which fades away very quickly.

take the trailer itself, on repeat watching, what I watch most is amarendra devasena scenes and other scenes from flashback and stop when action sequences in the present begin. (not that I hate action sequences or anything. )

I agree. I keep watching the trailer until the darbar scene where Baahu swings his sword as Deva looks on and then go back to the start. Yes it's a war movie that is fine with me but they shouldn't miss out on the emotional part especially Amar-Sena because apart from WKKB, the next thing that makes people want to watch is DS and their chemistry. I hope he made good use of that. SSR told the first part was introduction of characters and the second part will be dealing with more emotions so let's hope SSR won't disappoint us.

Yeah the run time should be atleast 3hrs having so much to be covered.. True,However great the action and vfx be,its the emotions that stays with us longer and affects more (,atleast for me)

And yes, after the WKKB mystery its the Baahu-Deva story that grabs eye and dont know how SSR has worked it out...

and people like me will be sobbing uncontrollably that people will kick us out from the theatre😡.

yeah sweety will nail it.

sometimes I do wonder how this movie will become a hit, once the hype and vfx craze dies down?coz people won't like to watch a colossal tragedy again and again?unlike part1,which was only one scene at the end and we can close our eyes...the story effectively ended on a high note, with amarendra bahubali becoming the king and so we can watch it on loop-because we know ultimately it's a positive outcome.

time and again, I feel (maybe it's just my thought) that mahendra taking revenge against bhallaladeva ...does SSR think he can show that and declare it as good wins over evil?personally, I don't think so.
If you look at it deeply, even though bhallaladeva will see his end but he will still have the satisfaction that he got victorious @ many times like:

1.he eliminated his enemy baahubali once and forever.baahu apparently didn't reign for long, didn't have much peace in his life, not got to spend his life with devasena and in all probability, didn't get to see his baby's face too yeah and faced betrayal from his father like figure mama and apparently from sivagami too.

2.devasena, who rejected bhalla flat on his face, didn't get to live a good life with the man she loved, her husband amarendra. he was not there to support her when mahendra came, lost her baby within hours of his birth, accused as an adultress and cruelly imprisoned for 25 years.

3.mahendra, who will be killing bhallaladeva :did he get the princely life he deserved?estranged from his family at infancy, never got to know his mother or father, deprived of their love and will never get to meet his great father too.

so even when bhallaladeva closes his eyes forever, he'll have all these satisfaction plus he was able to reign over mahishmati for 25+ years (that's kaafi long time right?)

Is this really win of good over evil?even if mahendra kills bhallaladeva in the end and reclaims the kingdom, ofc mahishmati will benefit.but what about devasena? and mahendra himself?

will killing bhallaladeva undo the damage kattappa did? will it bring back devasena 's loving husband?the father mahendra never got to know?the best king mahishmati ever had?the answer is NO! (that does not mean he should not take revenge, but still.)

So, how can we say justice has prevailed?that good won over evil?

it's sad that SSR will never understand this aspect.had he understood, things would've changed for the better.

P.S. ishu, meenu I'm sorry.I know you're tired of hearing this.but watching the first few seconds of the trailer, with amarendra 's oath and the haunting BGM, the gloomy scenes post his death.I couldn't help typing all this.
just my POV.

See life is unfair that way.. all cannot be gained and all cannot be lost.
Devasena accepted Amarendra knowing him and his oath. At some point she would have understood Bhalla too!
And coming to damage Kattappa did.. there is a speculation saying that Amarendra himself ordered him to do so to save someone. And Devasena the way she behaves knows that too..

And you will have to keep in mind abt SSR's words where he said none of his characters in this movie are full white/black. all are gray! So no pure souls here! We will have to wait and only watch

So my verdict, Devasena lost her husband! But she managed to save her son! Mahendra did not get to live a life like a prince, but he was alive to avenge his father's death..
Bhalla managed to get what he wanted, but he lost his peace and he had Devasena as his constant reminder! Its called poetic justice
