What was the story behind Kareena and Shahid

They were possibly one of the hottest couples in bollywood 11-12 years back until they broke up. Why did they break up and what was the issue was it Kareena and Saif or Shahid and Amrita?? or something else?? There are several gossipers in this thread who are bound to know something, please discuss

They just grew apart. You could say fell out of love. That was why it was easy for Kareena to move on so quickly and easily. Shahid was hung up for sometime coz his ego got hurt that she moved on easily. Don't think fidelity or marriage was any reason for their breakup.

They were not compatible long term. Though on paper they kind of looked perfect due to being closer in age especially, from the kind of people they married and looking quite happy with them, I'd say the long term incompatibility theory holds good.

What was their nickname - Shakeena?

I remember even Saif was joking about Shakeena once... Little did he know he will become part of Saifeena :-)

Today in KWK he said she had a meltdown on his couch at home when she was choosing between 2 boys. So I guess Karan helped Kareena choose between Shahid and Saif. Now I also understand the vibes between Shahid and Karan better,

Kareena did not cheat on Shahid during the making of Tashan. Shahid-Kareena had shared very cold vibes even before Saif came into the picture whilst shooting JWM. Their break up had already taken place by the time the film released in October 2007. It's a miracle how they managed to share so much chemistry in the film despite what the real life circumstances were like off camera.
