Now that Aamir won the Best Actor (Popular) trophy, will his fans -and himself- keep saying it's rigged ? Or did he loose it and buy himself one ? 😆

They didn't get the reputation of being rigged just by themselves.

The awards hv become too many and too inconsequential. Giving Aamir an award or Kangana is DAMAGE CONTROL.

The big stars are SPOILT for choice as to which award ceremony will pay them more for performing or which award function will beg them more even for attending.

In times past, Filmfare was IT. No more. There's IIFA which itself has lost its sheen and hundred other award ceremonies..competing to up their value. What separates these other rookie awards and the old awards? Nothing. Only how good hv the production team managed the entertainment side. And kept the audience and mostly tv viewers happy.

One day these awards are gonna become obsolete, or at best shows like the Dream Tour, an excuse to gawk in person at stars dancing to choreographed routines.

This was just damage control... just like Pakeezah said..

Going just back a few years.. some surprise winners here

HR for Dhoom 2 instead of Aamir for RDB
SRK for MNIK instead of Salman for Dabangg 1(criminal.. Salman's best performance ever)
Shahid for Haider instead of Aamir for PK (criminal)
Even last year Salman for BB looked so much better than Ranvir for whatever movie he won... I forgot.

I'm not Aamir fan. Correct that part. If someone deserving win, what's wrong in that? Aamir deserve the trophy in every sense.

As far srk fans are concern they need trophy for his every damn performance. He didn't give enough chanda so trophy bhi nahi mili

I am surprised to see the award list!

But not surprised to see the cribbing continuing. Whenever my favorite doesn't win, it's unfair,fake,rigged etc trend continues 😆
