Do you think we overreact to cleavage?

Hey!

Playing Devil's advocate here.

So, this question popped into my mind after seeing the reaction cleavage-bearing dresses get, be it DP or PC or anyone really.

Do you think we overreact to boobs in general?

If someone is baring their cleavage, is it really something we need to get outraged over?

Or do you feel they should be put away and guarded like Nutella's secret recipe?

They're not breaking any laws or violating anybody's rights, so maybe we shouldn't overreact to mammary glands. What say?

What is your opinion?

Shoot.

Personally I have no problem with showing cleavage/boobs as long as they don't look bad (bad in sense of fashion not obscenity. I didn't like either of PC's or DP's boob-show because I though there breasts weren't looking good. I remember few years back Kareena wore deep plunging neckline black dress in some award function and I loved that look.
I think sometimes showing assets enhance your beauty and overall look.

Their boobs, their cleavage let them show. But I don't like seeing them in such boob show dresses. Looks awkward.

"Nutella's secret recipe" 😆

If it goes with the look, it looks sooo sexy!! I love seeing cleavage, lmao. But only if done tastefully. I loved PC's gold GGG look because she carried it off beautifully. I don't really care to see DP in such cleavage baring looks because she barely has a chest, lmao. It looks better on DP type chests than someone like say, Vidya/Amisha who are super-busty.

So as you can see, I don't have a problem at all with cleavage dresses, lmao!! What I find most irritating is the immediate stereotyping of such actors/women as "modern/loose" etc which is disgusting to say the least. We are the land that created the Kamasutra & yet we behave like 10000 years old SOLID PRUDES when it comes to sex & body parts that are automatically labelled "sexy." They're breasts, super-sexualised, yes, but also the same organs that provide babies with milk. Get the f**k over them!!!! ESP in Delhi if any man sees a woman breast-feeding, he actually stops & stares at the woman like she's some exotic animal in a f**king zoo!!!! Go have sex & get over your frustration just stop gawking at women!!!! 😡 (I saw this just today hence I am deeply upset.)

Most people just need something to overreact on these day. Its their body and their choice, as long as they don't have a problem flaunting it and if they're ready to deal with the unnecessary uproar and attention that comes along with it then fair enough.

No problem with cleavage show but i do think that nowadays cleavage relealing neckline seems to be a must otherwise it goes into backward categories ...whether it suits them or not whetehr it goes with the dress or not but cleavage show will be there 🤔

Don't know about overreacting but it does get awkward many times.. coz out of 10 such dresses only 1-2 end up being aesthetically pleasing. Also in PC's case her dress was place appropriate unlike DP's. At the golden globes no one would make it a huge deal but in India having half naked breasts is like an invite to the leeches (sad but true) to top it she didn't even look comfortable in it so why bother wearing such thing in the first place?

Yeah both Priyanka and Deepika wore full-length dresses with full sleeves, so their cleavage show looked fine imo. Outside this forum, I didn't see any outrage over their gowns. Personally, I like dresses which offer a hint of the cleavage rather than a wide V-cut like Deepika's.

^^ I <3 the hint-of-cleavage type dresses too rather than what DP went for & I would never ever wear DP type dress even if I could but I've to say it irritates the f**k out of me when these men stare even if you wear a suit!!!!! 😡
