Rakesh Roshan has stepped in to clarify any rumours of a rift between the Kaabil and Raees teams. The Hrithik Roshan and Shah Rukh Khan starrers are all set to release on January 25. "I am neither angry nor hurt with Shah Rukh Khan, Ritesh Sidhwani or Farhan Akhtar...What is baffling is that SRK, Farhan and Ritesh came to meet me twice to discuss the release date and I explained to them that the box-office window open to us collectively is approximately Rs 300 crore. They agreed, then went and announced that they are coming on the Republic Day Weekend of 2017," revealed Roshan Sr.

He further opened up about the reason why he didn't shift the date - "Once SRK suggested to me that I should shift my date. I told him I couldn't because I am superstitious. During King Uncle, I had pushed the release earlier by four weeks because of my daughter Sunaina's wedding and the film flopped. After that I have never shifted the original date."

Raees is in Realistic Zone - Shahrukh Khan

"Raees is in Realistic Zone" says superstar Shahrukh Khan during his recent media interaction.

Based on rampant boot legging business in Gujarat, Raees is a period crime drama film Starring Shah Rukh Khan, Mahira Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.

Though the movie has a commercial release, but Shahrukh Khan says he is happy that "realism" of the movie is still intact.

"We have been making this film for many years now. It took us two and a half year to make it, in between I got hurt, and so we wasted 6-8 months in that. All I can say is that, Rahul Dholakia, who has made this film with a lot of patience. And his perception of about making film is very serious and realistic. So I am quite that film is in realistic zone" says SRK.

"Rahul wanted to marry realism zone with popular zone, so songs and trailer, everything is there which people enjoy. Despite all the songs and elements, the realism of the film is still intact" adds SRK.

Raees is directed by Rahul Dholakia and produced by Gauri Khan, Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under their banners Red Chillies Entertainment and Excel Entertainment.

"Movie boasts good message, though it is about boot legging, but certain aspects of the movie are good. Like, a man who remains intact on his belief and takes responsibility of his action, I hope people enjoy the film" adds SRK.

Raees meets Raees!

Shah Rukh Khan in and as Raees' is already creating waves with its trailer, songs, action-packed sequences and hard-hitting dialogues that have almost become an addition to masses' vocabulary at large!

SRK is already on a promotional spree for the much awaited film and he had a rather interesting encounter yesterday. The name Raees' has caught everyone's attention and SRK happened to meet eleven people named Raees' at Mumbai's suburban Mehboob Studios.' The actor met 11 such real life Raees and interacted with them on the names itself and what each of them do in their lives.

He was pleased when each of the eleven people introduced themselves as Raees,' a name which seems to be on every cinema lover's mouth at present. There was an echo of sorts that was created with the repitation of the name and people present were actually amused with it!

King Khan truly made their day by spending time with each of the eleven Raees,' animatedly interacting with them and making them feel comfortable.

When reel meets real, dreams definitely do come true! After all, SRK has always said Raees' doesn't only mean rich, it also means being benevolent.

Directed by Rahul Dholakia, Raees' is an action-packed drama starring Shah Rukh Khan all set to release on 25th January.
