Is Bollywood Audience ready to accept grim realities behind child

One of the common thread that I found between shivaay and kahani 2 is they both dealt with children and loss of innocence. While one dealt with human trafficking other went step further and showed grim realities behind the loss. It is no incidental that villain in one of the movies is innocent kid from ever popular masum -a movie that stressed on protecting innocence in a relation that is breaking up owing to very same child who is symbol of infidelity.

There have been few movies like highway, Manson wedding that went brave in confronting Child abuse. While Hollywood is very open about this issue, it is only now that main stream is braving the truth.

So do you think Indian audience is ready for movies that will dare show the ugly truth???
