WE hear things are not quite right between this top-notch actor and his preferred director. What caused them to roll up their sleeves and flex some, despite the fact they have worked on at least three blockbusters together? Apparently, the two had both financial and creative differences. Both parties have denied any falling out. But don't we always know better?

There have been murmers about creative differences between director Kabir Khan and actor Salman Khan on the sets of their film Tubelight' for quite sometime. It was reported that the actor-director team which gave us hits like Ek Tha Tiger' and Bajrangi Bhaijaan' will probably be working together for the last time. It was said that Kabir was a tad uncomfortable with Salman taking a creative calls on the sets.
However, the filmmaker has rubbished these reports with a smartly drafted twitter message. Taking things in his stride, he chose to mock the paps in a rather amusing way. The Tubelight' director shared a picture featuring Salman Khan and himself with their backs to each other and the caption, "Next time the press does a story of @beingsalmankhan & me not talking... this is the photo they should use HaHa... #Tubelight #Eid2017".

It has to be them. The three BB bit seems inaccurate. Blinds are usually vague anyways.

Despite inaccurate bit (3 blockbusters) it can't be Salman and Kabir - those rumour about their creative differences has been around since ETT. Kabir was at Salman's bday few days ago

This isn't Salman. It's SRK - Aditya Chopra.

I don't necessarily want SRK-AdiC to fall out but I definitely don't want to see them as actor-director anytime soon so for that reason I hope it's them. 😆 They are also talking about their next film.

The financial differences between Aditya Chopra and SRK are nothing new. They had the same argument when SRK signed Mohabbatein. Apparently Yash Chopra was paying SRK peanuts for his movies and SRK had enough and demanded his rightful price for Mohabbatain. Yashraj films were complete cheapskates back in the day signing people for low amounts, cashing in the popularity of their banner.

They still are 😆 Why do you think they launched so many newcomers? Hardly have to pay them plus they get a cut of their endorsement profits (I think) for managing them. They had this issue in JTHJ also when SRK demanded to be paid the same as Sallu-Aamir, given that YRF had been underpaying him for years. Creative differences, that's good though...that means SRK surprisingly bothered to read the script (if it is them) 😆

Not really.

While there is no official confirmation of this yet, Shah Rukh Khan had said in an earlier interview, "He told me that the shooting will be wrapped up in three months, but I will have to work with him on characters for two months prior to shooting for the film. I have no idea what he is making, but he has just asked me to keep my dates free next year. He has been planning one film with me after Befikre."

I too think it's SRK-Adi C...Remember they were supposed to work on a film together post Befikre...

I think befikre bombing made SRK take a hard look at Adi C directorial abilities...He also blames Adi C for spoiling Fan (as per a blind it was he who insisted on adding chase sequences & the needless melodrama)

If you think back, YRF has been shortchanging SRK for long ..all BIG commercial projects such as Dhoom franchise & Kabir K films has eluded him & what he's got are really projects that require heavy lifting on SRK's part...RNBDJ, JTHJ ,Fan, CDI...

I think SRK was anyway closer to Yash C than Adi C...

So some much needed good news for SRK fans!
