Dangal seems to be final test for Amir - a movie without hirani and dhoom franchise ...if he passes this test then the only question raised by many on his credibility ( hirani and dhoom brand ) will be gone . Till now it looks like he will pass the test in flying colours ...let's see.

It wasn't excuse, it was example given on this year's maximum films made on Biopic subject only. Lamest excuse is no top actress, no chartbuster, when aamir fan himself can't see that Aamir Khan post Lagaan is not having any top actress, no chartbuster in all his films (except Katrina & rdb album).

Aamir is a brand at this point and marketing maverick. It is not easy to sell movies with social message and yet score big on box office. So hats of to him for showing what right kind of patriarchy can do when it believes in potential of women. He may be hanikaark bapu but he made sure his daughters are national treasure. It takes guts to be old man with paunch and take back seat to new comers. Why are we not simply saying yay he pulled it off and movie is doing well.
