I've noticed this a lot. He always praises RK's work & you can see an admiration there for RK. He doesn't have that for other young actors, he thinks they're not as good as him. 😆 Even RS. In KwK when KJo said that Veer said he could do Kaminey better than him (Shahid) Shahid immediately said, "Ranbir? Ya.. Ranbir could." When KJo said, "no RanVEER, not Ranbir", SK immediately said, "RanVEER, no, Ranveer wouldnt do it better than me."

I remember that rapid fire moment clearly. And thought of it when both Shahid and Ranveer were announced for Padmavati. 😆

Unless you feel that Fawad doesn't deserve any appreciation for his work in K&S, I'm confused as to what you're trying to say here. He merely appreciated his work at a table where no one but Ranbir chose to take his name as a standout performer of the year. Not everything has to go to square one about how he "threw Fawad under the bus." The truth of the matter is as someone else mentioned here, hardly ANYONE in India/Bollywood helped Fawad's situation, let alone Ranbir, Anushka or whoever. Yes, it's disappointing when the people you've worked with don't come to your rescue when need be, but lets not make Ranbir the reason for Fawad getting banned. It's getting old and redundant. When you have the likes of SRK being afraid to take a stand, who is Ranbir again?

By the way, this issue is not about Ranbir/Anushka etc vs Fawad. This extends beyond that. It's about Bollywood being so selfish, fearful and lacking the balls to stand up for artists especially against self proclaimed gunday. Ranbir is not the one who brought Fawad into Bollywood, neither can he give him work to bring him back even if he'd want to. That's not Ranbir's job and it never was. If words can do so much then maybe Fawad should have tweeted about the Uri attacks when people were upset that he didn't...but it's not as easy as that, and we all already know. So constantly making certain actors scapegoats in this issue is nothing but petty.

That was actually a very interesting IV..Great to see all of them respecting each other's views and pausing and listening to what the other person is saying instead of rambling and talking over each other..Some things really stood out though-

1. Diljit is super endearing..So unassuming and humble and the least pretentious of the lot..He doesn't care if he comes across as naive/ignorant and Ranbir was bang on when he said there is a certain goodness that reflects on his face..Sach me dil jeet liya with his endearing personality 😆 YT is full of comments gushing over his adorable one liners in the interview 😆

2. LAMAO @ Amitabh talking about how he feels very strongly about woman empowerment, their dignity and place in the society 😆 That said, i loved his insight on stardom..About how fickle the industry is and you can go from a superstar to a nobody in no time..

3. Shahid has accepted the fact that he might never be a big commercial star and that seems to have brought so much calmness and security in the way he talks and responds to questions..He actually gave a lot of really sensible and to the point answers..And he seems to genuinely admire Ranbir..Even Ranbir was surprised when Shahid went on and on about ADHM and his performance in it 😆

4. Ranbir doesn't seem to like Sushant at all 😆 Poor Sushant kept looking at him for some sort of approval or response through out the IV and Ranbir seemed detached at most points 😆 As detached as he can be, you can really tell at times if he is faking it/being genuine and he seems to really like Diljit while Sushant seems to annoy him for some reason 😆 I liked how he was point blank about how there is only so much to a KJo film and there is not much work or preparation you need to do to get into the character/understand its depth..Almost the anti-thesis of what Anu said and am afraid RK makes more sense here cos there really is only so much depth to what Karan creates and that doesn't require extensive research most of the time 😆

5. Sushant rambles, goes off the tangent and most of his answers were very abstract and made no sense..I almost felt sorry for him cos he looked awestruck throughout and was having a tough time keeping his calm..That also makes his journey really interesting in a way..From a background dancer to a star sharing space with the top actors of the industry..
