@adventurousman: I think Sanju hasn't told Ranbir all of his stories. There must be something Ranbir really wants to get out of him that will help him nail the soul of Sanju. What we have to realise is that no matter how much a star might say that they're an "open book/nanga aadmi", there are chances that much of their personalities are kept far away from the public. Ranbir very clearly said, "I am not playing Sanjay Dutt playing Sanjay Dutt on-screen". If people are expecting Ranbir to have scenes where he's like Munnabhai then that's already out there for everyone to see. It's the life we don't know about that's meant to be portrayed.

I don't think its about stories. I feel he has already told everything to raju and its all in the script and the parts that are left out of script has also been recorded and kept with hirani, ofc ranbir has access to those and there are many more stories he must have told ranbir over the years.

when you see sanju in his interviews, that's what he is, that's his personality and it won't take long to get to know that and I feel ranbir had enough time to get that.

if he is calling sanju everyday and wants to meet him everyday and spend few hours each day just so he can observe him then what do you expect? some people are not comfortable with that, others might be but sanju might not be so yea he will be pissed, forgive him for not wanting to spend each day with ranbir 😆 as he said he can't spend more than half an hour with anybody.

as you said sanju is not a diplomat so he doesn't care either way. Dutt is not really a PR movie. there was a solid script and hirani wants to direct that, it might favor sanju that's another thing but no one can deny that it can be made into an amazing film, in fact you can make 2-3 on it

its co produced by him, wife ka toh aiwayi naam shayad ho. it will say 'sanjay dutt productions'

the public sentiment isn't as bad as you're making it out to be. everywhere he goes, there are his fans coming out to greet him, his movies still do some business even though they're really bad, when he does a decent movie, that makes money too.

people still blaming him for the bomb blast is a bit unfair. he said his producer friend gave him the ak 56 and he just wanted to shoot it. he kept it in his car dickey and forgot about it and went to mauritious.

it was stupid of him and I think he has paid for his stupidity but I don't think he had anything to do with the bomb blasts

as far being in touch with the underworld then I believe many were at that time.

Ranbir Kapoor, who has been preparing diligently for his role in Sanjay Dutt's biopic, has been getting little help from the actor. Contrary to rumours about Sanjay assisting Ranbir, the former has kept a safe distance from the film's preparations " except for his meetings with filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani.

At a press conference in Mumbai, Sanjay categorically stated, "I am not giving Ranbir any training for the film. Rajkumar Hirani is there to take care of everything."

Why the disinterest? A source close to both families attributes it to the shared history between the Dutts and Kapoors. He says, "Nargis and Raj Kapoor were known to have shared a fondness for each other. They worked in 16 films together, including Shree 420 and Awaara. Raj apparently couldn't take things forward at the time, because he was married to Krishna Raj Kapoor. That is when Nargis gave in to Sunil Dutt's advances and things materialised on the sets of Mother India, where he interestingly plays her son."

It is since this alleged clandestine affair that the two families have maintained a distance from each other, one that Sanjay is following up on, long after his parents are gone.

Then he should tell this to Ranbir or better still to Hirani that RK is pestering him. Why act like a grouch in the media? This is your production and Hirani is your friend. Well Sanju baba is silly lovable guy who I forgave long time back. And it could all be PR plants to prove producer and actor are not in synch. Low expectation.😃

Now if Sanju baba will just concentrate on Bhoomi that would be awesome. I had written about his life long time back on this forum. His life story is unique. But at the end of the day, Dutt movie's main motive is to make audience fall in love with him again. A little help to RK might go long way just like Dhoni did.

I take it as a joke. A nice one though. Sanju at the age of RK (now) was much bigger superstar. At least don't deny that. One hit of RK after several flops can't make him stand firm in front of Sanju. He's miles stone ahead from RK.

About the walking style I not only doubt I highly believe RK se nahi hoga.

RK don't have to spend time with Sanju he can easily watch Sanju's work on YT. Raghu (not sure the movie name) is actually the real side of him.
