Its sad that it happened with her. If a star kid like her isnt safe, we cant imagine what the lesser privileged ones must be going through.

thankfully, i (though belonging to a middle class family) never had to go through any such incident. Neither in my family circle nor at my workplace (which protected us like a family).

I agree with RR, the best way for changing the society is to educate the boys to respect girls and women and educate the girls to be strong and show that she isnt a weakling.

Hard to believe such a traumatic thing also happen to privileged people. But sad. And I'm glad she shared it should encourage other victims to come out and seek help. And learn not to blame themselves.

I am sorry but that CLEARLY shows what narrow and biased vision you have. Boys get equally molested as compared to girls, if not more. And women are also involved in the molestation of boys AND girls. Don't you hear news of school teachers having sex with underaged students? The respect of women has NOTHING to do with this. For once stop this aurat jaap. Women are a part of the many problems in this world and are not all angles just as all men are not devils.

Agree with you..boys and girls as kids are equally sexually abused across all the classes of society..
We need to sensatize all

Stupid of you to attack me on this sensitive topic.

This topic is about men molesting women and I am mother of a son, so I can only talk about educating son, something that I practice IRL.
I am very well aware of the other side, but here context is girls. Specially in India, girls face more molestation than boys.
No one said all men are devils. Why did you take it so personally?😕

ranbir rocks..full respect to your pov but no where has it been mentioned that a man molested her..might as well have been another woman for all we know..

but yeah that personal attack was not needed on you at all!

Thanks for your support CT.

Sometimes we need to understand sentiments behind the comment. This is not a Law Thesis.
I had no intention of putting down men, specially when I have a son. I was talking generally as my own experiences on topic.

If you see the video clip, they are talking in context of Kahani 2 which is case of little girl molested by a man. So I took it from there as Sonam talking about a man molesting her.

How in the world do people come up to a conclusion that sexual assault victims has anything to do with their victims? Just doesn't make sense.

How is THAT a personal attack? Did i call you names? You called me "stupid" which is in fact a personal attack. You say its a sensitive topic yet you provide a narrow point of view. If I had said something like the"only" solution is to educate all girls, this forum would've broken into a frenzy calling me all sots of names. But its okay to trivialize a man's point of view and experience. Since its a sensitive topic it should be respectful that those who have no experience or knowledge of the topic not offer their point of view.

You said you have a son and the "only" thing you can do is to teach him to respect women? WRONG!!! You should teach him how to save himself from sexual molestation and to not allow anyone (including women) to touch him inappropriately or behave in an illicit manner with him. And as far as respect if concerned children should be taught to respect both men AND women and the fact that sexual exploitation of both men AND women is wrong.
