BM numbers from BOI:

Worldwide weekend:92,04,50,000

Overseas:$4,280,000

Befikre numbers from BOI:

Day 1:10,25,00,000

Weekend:34,25,00,000

Worldwide weekend:61,00,00,000

Overseas:$2,00,000

BM's advantage: Hype due to clash with Dilwale and people wanting to be part of a revolution, heavy promotions in all available media outlet, SLB, Deepika, PC

BM's disadvantage: Clash hence screens were shared

Befikre: Hype due to Ranveer becoming next SRK finally with this film, Ranveer's comeback after BM, heavy promotions in all available media outlet, Adi Chopra who is the only director ever to give 3 back to back Overseas and India blockbusters, successful music, skin show, kissing, Vaani's dancing

Befikre disadvantge: Demonetization

Befikre has the most disliked Hindi film trailer ever... And people keep bringing up the Aditya Chopra factor but he has cachet with family audiences & family audiences have rejected the film outright.

Aditya Chopra had a bad idea and he knew it. He thought he should release it anyway. If his dad was around he would've nipped this in the bud at script level 😆 😆 the silver lining is Ranveer is very lovable in the film

Befikre hasn't died out yet. It could have a nice 2 week period and maybe cross BM

You never know 😆 😆

The trailer was abysmal but thought hit songs made up for it.I dont think Dishoom or Baaghi trailers generated any good response either.If one has to fault demonetization,then what explains disaster overseas collections for a Yrf/Adi movie??

DP-RS combo + clash did help BM immensely or else Star power wise its Varun>Ranbir>Tiger>Ranveer.
