The whole point of promoting a movie is to convince people to watch the film...If Mahira promotes the film here, it will anger them instead. Why would the producers call her here and damage their film?

it's not just about the promotions stuff. i agree mahira shouldn't come for promotions at this time but to promise MNS that he won't work with any pakistani artists in future. why so much fear for this nobody raj thackeray?

He's already been proved to be a darpok during the Chalte Chalte incident where instead of showing the man who was creating the ruckus the door, he took the easier path and removed the weaker person, his heroine.

It beats me why an intelligent man like him has to do these things. When he is bullied by bigger people, instead of getting back at them, he gets out of it by bullying weaker people himself.

Yeah ! He has taken the theka of protecting the weak!

Who was protecting him when he was being called names on National TV coz he commented on intolerance? Your idol's sasurji was busy licking Thakerey's feet at that time ..Also during MNIk Bacchan was busy buttering Bal Thackerey..It was only SRk bearing the brunt!

OT: I think this is a smart move..Rather than making some pathetic video and broadcasting it all over the place he has set the record straight with Thackerey...When the CM himself has acceded that its Thackerey who is more responsible for city's law & order then it is OK for SRK to straighten things out with him

i also think that SRK will be shooting with Mahira now & he doesn't want anything to disturb the same and this is his way of preempting any such hassle to complete this movie...Looks like SRK truly believes that Raees will succeed bigtime...It's rare for SRK to do such a thing otherwise

I am disappointed in Shahrukh. Out of everyone, he was one of the last I would've expected to bow down to a corrupt asshole like Thackerey. Showed your cowardliness SRK.
