it would have worked if it had the vibe of aow sunow pyar ke ek kahani or koi tumsa nahi those were modren classics ...but this tune is more kind of 90's and not even of 2000 yet a new singer crooning it is even worse had it sung by sonu or udit narayan it could have been better they are master of 90's sound

its strange because...that was era of that particular style of music ...if it was dated that even dated music of om shanti om was a hit back than main agar kahoon tumsa haseen from om shanti om had a 80's touch ...or fanah songs which was kind of same style like mere haath main tera hatth ho etc were chart basters , or parinita songs were also hit ...even dont say alvida of salman khan and kareena was a huge hit it also had the 90's touch to it ...
