Well let's look at Hrithik.

it's a personal opinion, but I think certain people have the "it" factor which trumps all other features, perhaps even (obviously subjective) "better" acting. It can be a combination of charisma, good looks, innocence, and passion that exudes to audiences and they subconsciously grasp it, hence the overnight craze. HR really gave his 200% for his first movie and that didn't get unnoticed.

The beauty about Ranbir's stardom is it has survived show cancel.

He has survived Bombay Velvet size disaster, 4 flops in row and he is still there. Directors are still taking him. He is still getting compared against Salman and Hrithik. His contemporary and junior still look at his body of work. His rivals fans still love to sprout venom at his name. His fans are still with him. Trade still has not given up on him. People who are known for acting like him. Directors who work with him love him.

And he is still doing his own thing- it may not give him instant super stardom but it garners him plenty of love.

Ranbir is an example of how cancellation of shows don't break real actors.

I love Hrithik and his stardom is uniquely his. Let Ranbir make his own space and enjoy his own unique brand of stardom.

PS: I want to genuinely know single star who has survived show cancel and is still in industry and whose fans are waiting for his next release. Like most RK fans on this forum are...
