If I remember correctly, deflated budget is code word for producer not sure about the product. It is basically "Wait and Watch" for the release.

It is just my guess but Adi must have done some random screening (with people in trade) and results might not be to his liking. He was always so reliant on SRK's reach with mass. I am not sure if he actually paid attention to promotion of his own movie.

As a captain of ship, he sucks big time. With this unrealistic budget which will fool no one, he is saying "I will swallow loss than lose face".

I feel Ranvir- Vani did far better job with this movie. They needed a better captain at helm. Nothing is written in stars till movie hits the theater. Audience make or break movie.

Wish he gave some realistic figure, someone pointed that Kahani budget was 27 cr !!!
