SHOCKING: Preity Zinta's brother commits suicide

In a shocking incident, actress Preity Zinta's cousin brother has committed suicide. Details below.

Preity Zinta's cousin brother Nitin Chauhan who was living in Shimla, committed suicide on Friday morning.

Reportedly, he shot himself in the head with a pistol in a by vehicle

bearing the registration number HP 51 2089 near Sector 2, new Shimla.

Two suicide notes have been recovered: one from the car and the other from his home. In both the notes that he left behind, he has blamed his wife and in-laws for driving him to suicide. He has also accused them of harassing him by filing false cases and not allowing him to meet his son.

A senior police official has been quoted by HT: "The victim and his wife had separated two years ago. The case regarding legal separation was pending in the court. The hearing of the case was on Friday." (sic)

Another officer who was at the spot says, "In both suicide notes, of four pages each, Chauhan blamed his wife and in-laws of harassing him." (sic)

On the basis of the suicide notes, the police have registered case of 'abatement to suicide' against the in-laws. Investigations have started. "We have not interrogated anyone but registered a case against those mentioned in suicide note," a Shimla

I feel bad for him. But won't blame the wife or in laws because we have no idea what really happened between them all
But worst of all is the little boy who would invariably will be traumatized by this tragedy:(( my heart goes out for him :(((

First, sympathies to the family. That's awful.

Personally, I have been so confused by "abatement to suicide" which should mean the exact opposite of what it seemed to. I finally looked it up and it's the Indian spelling of abetment, eureka moment🥳 I'm a dork! ( Though now I wonder how do you spell abatement... ) Regardless, I think it's a stupid charge. If someone is guilty of harassment, charge them with harassment, etc. If the person wasn't directly involved in the suicide they shouldn't be charged for it.

If her wife would hv committed suicide, he would have been charged with dowry death. Shameless law biased in favour of women... she will be scot free WD just abatement 2 suicide case in which conviction is rare

That law is to protect a majority because a huge huge % of women r facing death against a very minuscule % of men in the same situation
Also Cz in all cultures it's norm for a dulhan to go to her husband's home n to in laws and thus be alone against them. And even if a ghar Jamari he wouldn't be expected to actually bring a dowry when he comes

So while laws cannot be perfect the existence of such a law is the reason a good many women r still breathing specially in the underprivileged sectors

Here lies the problem with feminists.. So u r defending those wives actions who forced husband to commit suicide bcz they are less in numbers? crime is crime . n m a lawyer by myself so I know it really well how these laws r being misused. Why husband suicide does not make noise in media? Lyf z Lyf be it a guy or girl. 56% cases are fakes as per data to who will pay for Lyf of those 56% men? or they HV to suffer bcz women suffers majorly??

If same had happened to a woman all people would've demanded jail punishment for male n her in laws. If he has committed suicide then I m sure his laws put him to a lot of trouble . . It goes both ways

I was talking about suicide and if the girl is already dead how is it a fake case?
