Yes DDLJ, the one and only DDLJ... No other movie can beat it in the 'most overrated and least delivered' department ( except Lagaan)... Lagaan is a better movie but, then again, DDLJ was not nominated for an Oscar and called the perfect movie ever made

I think Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro was very funny, great message, a brave effort for its time, but has not stood the test of time... But I still think it's a good movie even if it's overrated

You see I can't handle the pretentiousness of BW movies. Most of the time if I watch a movie of renowned "star" , I find them acting as that star with the same mannerism and not as the cha racter. So I can't relate to the character. The don't break their image. Even if they try that they over do it.

I want to watch a BW movie where I can relate to the script as well as the character where the star wouldn't remind me of his/her real image.

I certainly can't label these the best movies but right now I can only remember Aankho Dekhi. TZP was a great effort.

I am yet to watch many other BW movies😃

Too add few more movies:

1. Bajrangi Bhaijaan - It was so unrealistic that a man is allowed to enter Pakistan and move about freely due to the soldiers having pity on him. Then the nonsensical climax where Munni gets her voice back and people start crying watching it. And this movie is considered a masterpiece *facepalm*

2. Lagaan - I did not get how a cricket match made a movie reach Oscars. The love triangle made it even worse.

3. Rockstar - Did not make sense from the start to the end. Why the rockstar lost his senses also is unknown.
