yes the ad was wrong, ranveer and the jack and jones team made a big blunder by doing it, jack and jones hav issued an apology and hav said they r taking down the billboard, they said they didn't intend to offend anyone and i dont think rs intended to offend either, i guess they just did not think this one through, hopefully it wont ever happen again

Whom are they kidding. These brands are desperate for some attention and controversies. I won't be surprised if it was indeed an intentional move. There is no way in which an ad that is so in your face sexist wasn't given much thought. Lol.

they r taking it down, if they wanted to create contreversy then they wud hav kept it up and ignored peoples complaints, but they didn't do that

Why do people offer a half asses statement like do not mean to offend as sorta kinda apology?

The ad is wrong . Just plain wrong. Like thieving is wrong. Why do most people do not think indulging in misogyny is just plain wrong?

They are portraying them as victim by saying we did not mean to offend anyone.

I had no idea what this jack and Jones issue was until I saw this. Oh god, how appalling! Way to take women back to the 1950s with that billboard ad.

I'm very impressed with Siddharth for calling Ranveer and the Jack and Jones brand on their crap. I didn't think he had it in him to make a solid stance or to take a lead on anything, so much respect for Sid for that. I'm quite surprised that no one else seemed to be in uproar over this though (as based on this thread)
