Why is Eros bankrupt though? Didn't they make money from BM, TWMR?
I don't think they made any money off of BM, probably lost a bit. They sold it at low prices for a hit tag (perception matters a lot), but they couldn't recover their investment -- hence they've backed out from Padmavati, Shivaay and a bunch of other films. If they'd made money off of it or even broken even, they would have never left Padmavati despite sharing costs with another studio, after BM and RL.
It seems like for BB, Salman got a major chunk of the profits but still Eros would have gotten enough...TWMR would be one movie they genuinely made money off of but it doesn't seem like it was enough to offset everything else.
They stayed on for their smaller films this year but none of those made any money for them and probably lost them 100+cr this year looking at BBD/RO2.
