Super Duper Flop film is 2nd Biggest SUPERHIT on TV. Baat iss cheez ki hai ke who can give HIT without whom & in that case, RS has yet to give 1 Single HIT without DP.

Khans are the "last of true blue stars" who can ensure big openings . Now, only Sallu and Aamir can ensure hit movies irrespective of how bad their movies be.

Rest, be it the new male or female stars, they need good scripts. I like it because it gives equal footing. Specially cool that women are not settling for doing flowerpot role and trying out new ventures and are far more ambitious .

RK suffered the career halt . RS has a lot of ground to catch up. Varun probably has had a more consistent BO run.

Among girls , they are doing good things and if all of them continue to pick substantial roles and keep exploring , they will change the dynamics of this industry. But a long way to go.

Shradha has had midas touch but a lot of it has to do with music but then RS has had success because of many other factors too.

Guess, check who is the bigger brand , if MNCs are running behind you and making you the brand, thats the first step towards being that "star". Compere their brand equity and you will have the answer, no current star , barring the khans can pull BO on their own.

AFJ agar bakwaas hoti, TV pe bhi nahi chalti... which it wasn't... Channel but satellite rights based on Tiger's earlier 2 films, box office failure would have mean flop on TV also, which it wasn't, so yes It is Consolation prize, they didn't loose their invested money. HIGH TRP, high returns.
