Its not about Money...He has become the face of the campaign...Akshay too dedicates his time besides money

Not undermining other actors for their contribution...while giving money is good but not exactly great...participation help to institutionalize and get the mass focus...hence sustainable.

While we tend to westernize BW on screen using HW as inspiration to project modernity, wish they also to do it off screen as well(esp KJo)...many of the HW counterpart are torch bearers for social causes and tend to marry themselves to the issue(till death do us apart).

Same goes for cricketers(esp Aussies).

SRK possible tops all BW actors in terms of charity...and there is reason ...he runs couple of organisations where he can offset the contribution for tax rebate...but still creditable that he does it.

The point however is it is just left to monetary contribution and association...unlike Patekar & Kumar who drive it.

But SRK is candid, he makes no bones about the fact that making money is the main goal in his life...unlike his pocket size co Khans...who project themselves as messiah's.
