For your kind information, he has never been allowed inside the temple premises... How many times have you been to Guruvayur temple? And before you ask me, I visit atleast twice every year...

Since you have bothered to post that YT video, do read the comments below as well. The temple that is shown is not Guruvayur...

He has sang from just outside the temple premises many times... There is a stage where people perform, just outside the main temple.

On his birthday, Yesudas, 76, along with his entire family visits the Kollur Mookambika temple near Mangalore in Karnataka and takes part in the musical tribute.

Yesudas has sung numerous songs hailing Lord Guruvayoorapan but has not been allowed entry into the Sree Krishna Temple at Guruvayoor as he is a non-Hindu.

The issue of Yesudas' entry into the Guruvayoor temple has been raging since the 1960s. As the temple has a policy of disallowing non-Hindus inside the temple precincts, Yesudas, being a Catholic, was barred from performing. However, Yesudas' guru Chembai Vaidyanatha Bhagavathar was let inside. But the Guru had compassion on his disciple and led Yesudas to an impromptu, all-night concert in praise of Lord Krishna outside the temple. Ever since, there have been constant demands for Yesudas to be allowed inside the temple since he has been singing Hindu devotional songs in praise of Lord Krishna for the last several years.

He has sung more than 45,000 film songs in 14 languages. He has won the National Award seven times. He has also been conferred the Padma Shri and the Padma Bhushan.

In other post people were causally saying its not big deal after all its just a dialogue by fictional character, so i wanted to see if nationality changes the reaction by same people and i was right, it changes reaction.

First you jump from Nusrat to Yesudas then to Gurvayur and now his change of religion (new flavour to the discussion)

Most importantly...what exactly is the point you are trying to make ?? ...and how is it related to the thread subject??

First come clear on this...instead of digressing by adding a new point in every post

As regards the rest...you can post a few blogs & tweets and try to convince me that Yesudas is an alien who can fly...If your version works for you...keep it.

As far as I am concerned ... there was a petition for his visit and he was allowed entry to the temple...and its not based on some blogs & tweets ...but based on News media report...so I am keeping my version.

Dont send some more tweets and blog links ...with another flavour added...I am not here to discuss yesudas autobiography ...just answer the question in bold.
