FACE-OFF: Karan Johar-Raj Thackeray Finally Meet At CM Devendra Fadnavis' House

Nikita DalviOct 22 2016 9:43 AM

Looks like, some decision will be taken today in context to Karan Johar's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil's release on Oct 28. At the time of going online, a meeting has already begun between MNS Chief Raj Thackeray and Karan Johar at CM Devendra Fadnavis' residence in Mumbai.

Accompanying Karan for the meeting are also other Bollywood filmmakers-Mukesh Bhatt, Siddharth Roy Kapur and Sajid Nadiadwala.

A few days back, Karan had requested MNS Chief Raj Thackeray for a meeting to discuss a smooth and trouble-free release of his Ranbir-Anushka-Aishwarya starrer venture Ae Dil Hai Mushkil on Diwali. However, Raj Thackeray refused to meet Karan Johar.

Mukesh Bhatt, President of the Producers Guild had gone to Delhi two days back to meet Home Minister Rajnath Singh along with Vijay Singh-CEO Fox Star and Apoorva Mehta from Dharma Productions to discuss the matter.

Talking about the outcome of the meeting, Mukesh Bhatt said, Rajnath ji assured us 100 % support and that he will convey to CM Devendra Fadnavis to maintain law and order,'

He also added, Rajnath ji said that he will speak to the chief ministers of every state and ensure that Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is released without any violence and issue,'

Apart from this, Karan Johar had also made a call to CM Fadnavis to seek security for a smooth release of his film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. Sources at CM's office had confirmed that Karan did have a telephonic conversation with the CM.

yup not trust worthy at all...who knows the GOI goes to shake hands with Pak Govt again and invites them for their B'Day and these BW fools might think that its OK to hire Pak actors again...I agree with you ...none of these BW fools are worthy of trust

Raj Thakre also needed an exit option after his thugs were put in judicial custody for two weeks. They didn't expect that they will get more than 24 hours.

LOL. This is the same exact solution as 2009's fiasco. 😆
Raj Thackeray made Karan put up a disclaimer about the Bombay/Mumbai thing at the beginning of the movie, only then it was allowed to have a proper release. And as far as I remember this was decided when Karan had a personal meeting with Raj.
