"They were supposed to meet the management of the cinema halls, give them a memorandum and make them understand what the issue was. In this case, it went a little out of hand," said Shalini Thackeray, general secretary, MNS.

With the court posting the matter for hearing on Friday, another MNS leader said the arrests were "unexpected". "All divisional heads from Mumbai, Pune and Thane have been asked to lie low," said the leader.

Happy to see a NRI appreciating the police rather than rooting for goons. Hope some of the goon supporters they dont do that in the country they live in. I can imagine what the police in that country will do to them. 😉

When you compare yourself you should compare with top rung countries which you would want to settle in even if you were not born a citizen of that country rather than a bottom rung country no one cares for.

I really don't want to wait for the day India starts producing homegrown terrorist to start criticising and wanting actions against them. Who is to guarantee that this so called lovable harmless gundas vandalising public property illegally won't start killing tomorrow in the name of nationalism and justify it. I m glad Mumbai Police has taken strict actions againt these kinds when they were not even expecting one. Look at their ideas about their actions already.

Will Suhana Khan also meet the same fate as Tanisha and Esha Deol?

I feel she will end up just like them because Suhana really lacks the looks, glamour and talent! I mean she’s just NOT cut out for the glamour...
