his last hit is in 2007 with kareena in JAb we met

10 years and yet not a single hit

would he get single hit next year in rangoon due to kangana ?

Kaminey was a hit
Haider was one of 2014's best films and it did well for its subject matter
R Rajkumar was a hit

Phata Poster Nikla Hero should've been a hit, it was such a cute film but idk why many Shahid fans are lazy and stingy. When it comes time to actually support him and watch his film in theatre, they patli gali se nikal
Udta Punjab ran away with all the accolades this year and was a hit

To be very frank, I love him, have since Ishq Vishq, but he's not very impressive as an actor. For me, a great actor is when I step out of a cinema hall and I can't stop thinking about his/her performance for the next few hours. It leaves an impact, and it makes me question things/beliefs/attitudes. People like Abhay or Jimmy Shergill keep me more on my toes than Shahid does, and that says a lot about him as a performer. There's no repeat factor in his performances. The only movie I would catch again on TV would probably be Vivah, but then again, anyone could have done that role.

I didn't find either Kaminey or Haider earth shattering performances. He's very good, no doubt, but the X-factor is missing. RRajkumar was so OTT, I was bored after 20 mins. I haven't seen UP so I can't possibly comment on that one.
