December cant get here fast enough. This movie has so much potential.
It could provide a fresh way forward for Bollywood as well, which I feel is getting lamer with each movie. 2010-2012 was a really period, 2013 and 2014 had about 3-4 good movies and the less said for 2015 and 2016 the better.

These tweets on the other hand, I don't care about.

Surpassing any of Udaan, Haider or Masaan (the top three for me, this decade) is going to be a huge challenge. But then it won't be that surprising. This is the guy who has stuff like DCH, Lagaan, RDB, TZP in his filmography afterall.

Didn't like *Sultan* much ----- i am excited for *Dangal* --- it may or may not do so well @the box office but i feel it'll be a much better movie on wrestling --- *😃*

I know the story... On wat this Dangal film hs been made on... Note: This is kind of movie that needs high appreciation frm certain ppl otherwise it won't work... Trust me, if Raees hd clashed with Dangal then Raees wud hv been sure shot beaten Dangal in all places... Dangal hs some forced issues which hv been injected into the script for sake of it. Solo rls Hain so shud do well as it will rls on Xmas...
The biggest reason why some filmy personality r calling it best movie of the decade is bcoz it is last & farewell film of UTV aka DISNEY in Bollywood...

Sultan records will be hard to break.. footfalls wise as well..

Dangal is for Multiplexes audience only & for some limited Plush Single screen audience in Big cities & centres..

i Hate when people praise a film to the skies , cause i usually end up disliking that film :/

It better be and beat PK with a huge margin. Because if it doesnt then Aamir better prepare to be no. 2 star of BW.

I don't think it can do 400cr... its not a comedy movie like 3I or PK that people will love to watch it again n again...


Only think which will help movie revenue business is state governments declaring it tax free.

Looks like the film is good. Now Aamir usually wouldn't let any kind of talk/buzz to get out even though the positivity would be prevailing all over. In fact he doesn't show anything in the trailers too, they remain mostly underwhelming till the final two weeks. That's when he brings out somewhat better bits.

But looks like he is changing that strategy for Dangal. Under the current circumstances I guess he doesn't want to go that route, he is not taking any chances. He wants that initial audience to come based on this "hyped" word of mouth and then let the content win them over.


In trade there is a this strong belief that if one likes a movie without re-recording and is engaged throughout the duration without any discomfort, it will click big time. "Agar bina RR ke log baith gaye toh samjho picture chal gayi" - in any case for Dangal to work big that's what I have been saying from the day controversy started, it has to be a true blue classic loved by everyone, there is no other way.


When it comes to celebrity praises, I only believe one person and that's R Madhavan. If he watches the film and says the film is phenomenal, then the film will be phenomenal.
