They can go with Huma Qureshi/ Radhika Apte. That being said, SKJha isn't reliable. We should wait for official confirmation from the makers.

The reason for her casting was not this and hence it's not the solution too. If because of one artist they fear the movie's release and backlash from public, then replacement is the best option. Agree to disagree.

Nobody has suggested that this will stop terror. Putting an end to cultural ties is a way to voice displeasure.
Having said that, the ban should only apply to new films, not films like Raees that have been completed already.

As much as i not like this *pressure tactic & bullying* --- I welcome this change --- it's really difficult a situation to go agaisnt enraged public --- & it doesn't help when rivals get advantage of such *high emotions* to cut down the clash effect ---- so practically speaking rather this than seeing many Indians & their efforts get wasted over one Pakistani artist --- !!!!

No offense but this notion that they're going against public sentiment is quite manufactured by the self proclaimed nationalists out there. There are plenty of people in India who know how to differentiate between artists and terrorists. There are plenty of us who know that what has happened in the past few weeks has nothing to do with Mahira or Fawad or any other artist from Pakistan who's working in Bollywood. Yes, there are some oh so "patriotic" journalists on television who'll shout and scream to make everyone think their word is the only word out there but that ain't true.

I hope this is not true! This would be pathetic decision to say the least if it's true! And this is coming from someone who has been eagerly waiting for Raees ever since the teaser came out but I definitely don't support a ridiculous decision like this i.e if it's true. People are living in a fool's paradise if they think replacing Mahira or Fawad is the solution here. Infact these folks would be setting a bad precedent if they end up doing that (again if it's true). Today it's about artists from Pakistan, tomorrow it'd be about the storyline or the theme of the movie, where would this stop! Not to mention Shahrukh has already faced this bull with MNIK and Dilwale and he stood his ground on both occasions. So it'd end up reflecting him in an extremely poor light if he is on board with a decision like this i.e IF this is true.

dont think its true they will wait for ADHM to know the effect then will take the final move but if they choose this option how they will do that i mean will shoot the scene again ??? or just change the face will be really strange

Majority? But who's deciding the majority here BI? Some bigots out there will now decide what we should and shouldn't watch! India is still a democracy. These decisions can't be shoved down our throats by a bunch of thugs! This is so not a majority decision! Nobody is voting here! These are threats! It's called bullying. Besides I happen to in principle also disagree with this notion that majority decision equates to the right decision.

I am going by what most people want on this forum...and no I won't call them bigots or any other names...I feel that most of them are genuinely opposing it because of the love for India...but yes I agree that MNS and SS are milking the situation and using it for their own selfish agenda...they are bullies..u r right..🥱🥱

and in a democracy ...majority dictates...whether right decision or not...that is how democracies work..
