Shahrukh in Chak De obviously. His role was way more challenging too. It's so easy to act and give expressions without any dialogues. Dialogue delivery is a very challenging part of acting and it could make or break your performance. Otherwise even Sonam can pull off a great performance by playing a mute if we were to just go by her expressions.

My answer is biased. I just didn't enjoy Barfi as a movie, but loved CDI. So SRK wins by default.

I loved SRK in CDI, but I'm going to go with Ranbir in Barfi.

Pulling off a Barfi is incredibly difficult. I'm not going to lie, even I felt Barfi wouldn't do well..and was skeptical of Ranbir being able to pull off his character with such ease when I initially saw the trailer...but, was proved totally wrong. One may be able to find another Kabir Khan'esque performance somewhere else down the line..but a Barfi? It's one of those unique characters that don't just happen and if so, just once in a lifetime maybe.. and to pull it off so convincingly and effortlessly? It takes a special kind of performance and actor to do so.
