A.Many may say that Yashraj was established before SRK but that is wrong. Yash Chopra was a major director but his banner was not a major force because all it had was small success like Kabhi Kabhie and Chandni behind it but Darr,DDLJ and DTPH changed all that.

And Akki also worked with yrf during the same period(ye dillagi 1994).So why didn't they pursue him again? Eventually he ended up with a supporting role in DTPH 😆

boi is just another one person;s opinion. yash chopra was just as big a director before srk as he was after. he had daag, waqt, chandni, deewar, trishul, kabhie kabhie, all are all time hits that are still remembered today. so its an insult to him to say that srk made him.

ye dillagi was a hit despite the fact it had a no name director unlike darr, ddlj

They don't even remember that it is Yash Raj Films production just that it had Uday Chopra as Producer & Aditya Films as banner name. Else, they would have mentioned it.

I guess they benefited from each other. SRK didnt want to do DDLJ because he didnt see himself if i am not wrong as a romantic hero but that movie made him THE romantic Hero of all time.

ITs the movies that makes you the Star so of course maybe Yash Chopra had a bad phase but still his vision helped SRK a lot

YRF/Dharma made SRK or else he would be doing Maya Memsaab kind of disasters, being proven dozen times in this forum, can even list you all films from these 2 PH & rest of hits srk give with others, which will be few 😆
