We also want peace between two countries but I just love the fact India is not going to sit quiet if again terrorist attack happen in India and they will not wait but Act promptly.

I agree that Nation comes first...but let us all understand that there is not 1 Pakistan that we are dealing with today...There is the millitary (Cause of all troubles), The Pak Govt & Civilians...

Pak is going through a huge unrest for the past decade or so & no nation with an unstable neighbourhood can feel secure & peaceful !

We need to to be tough with Pak ..We need to fight fire with fire...but shouldn't let the troubles of today mar our vision for tomorrow...India is on the cusp of greatness & doesn't need the diversions of hate politics with Pak...It needs to act tough on Pak & leverage international pressure on Pak to put its house in order(that is to get an operative democracy and systematic form of governance)

Then it would be far easier to coax, cajole, convince, admonish Pak into action against terror !

Let's not miss the woods for the trees!!!

I know it would have been nice if these Pakistani actors had condemned the Uri attack ...but then think about it...when Indian actors condemned this act they had to face the wrath of Pakistani fans...But the good thing is that these Indian actors are safe in their own country and they don't have to go back to Pakistan where their families are when their VISA expires...Remember what happened to SRK and Aamir for the statements they gave(intolerance one and Aamir's wife expressing her fears)? Do u remember the amount of bashing and hatred they got and are still getting...Did u see what happened to Salman for his statements in favor of Pakistani actors?? And Salman/Aamir?SRK belong to the biggest democracy in the world...a democracy which allows its citizens to voice their opinions without any fear and yet all the 3 Khans were beaten black and blue for voicing their opinions...

Now Pakistan is not even that much of a democracy...and you want these Pakistani actors to condemn the URI attack and then go back to Pakistan and face the risk of being killed?? Do u not think that they must be scared for the lives of their families?? Do you think that if Adnan Sami had not become an Indian citizen and had the fear of being kicked to Pakistan he would have uttered even one word on this attack?? No he wouldn't have...I can bet my life on that...will the Indian Govt provide asylum to the Pakistani actors after they criticize their own country..No they won't...so why do we expect Pakistani actors to comment on URI attacks...

IMPAA did the right thing to ban them...and I hope they are never allowed in India again or allowed to work in BW movies because there is too much risk involved...but asking them to speak against their own country is too much ...

It's ridiculous , personally, to ask actors about their opinions on things because they all live with image perceptions and especially not in context about countries given the situations in their respective countries but it's also a reality they are the face that sells various causes, brands etc..it's natural given their public space. Nobody wins this one.

Very lovely post Mahira BUT nothing is going to change the fact that your country PAKISTAN are helping the terrorists. Whether it's the attacks in India or other countries the main home to terrorists has been in pakistan.
Instead of sweet talk, YOU as the citizen of your country should pressurize your government and army to NOT help terrorisme.

Poor thoughts, how easily she rubbishes off uri attack as just another topic for text book and debate 🤢 depicts the thoughts on the other side of the border, every attack is JUST a topic for discussion not inviting any action for India 🥱

We are culturally not the SAME, it's just that afghan/Arab migrants who came here to loot / rule stayed over long and influenced each other's culture. And we are no equals in any which way... Kashmir is ours, the other side has this imaginary claim over it and has been meddling and provoking India time and again, India is only defending its position, has never been offensive...the war and the proxy cowardly terror attacks were always from the other side not us...why should we share even an iota of blame for the current situation...even law says one can defend against offenders ...do people expect us to keep accepting bullshit with no retort 🤢

It's been the dream of these people to finish off India since ages and here we stand tall and ready to teach them whose the boss... Despite all the invaders, monopolies, wars, garbage politicians, migrants, diverse ethnicity Bharath is still alive and flourishing and will continue to do so!

I wish these people had something better to do for their people and their country ... Their obsession with India is not only hampering India's progress in a minor way but their own progress in a big way... I'm shocked to see how their life revolves around India 🤢

I stopped reading it and taking her seriously @Uri will be just another event in textbooks.What the hell is she smoking?She clearly wants to say it'll be forgotten,you might forget it but what about those poor souls who lost their fathers,mothers,cousins,brothers,childrens etc Whose life has been destroyed.Would she have said the same had she lost her loved one(s) in a attack?Easily said than done,i guess!🥱
