In a shocking incident, Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui and his family has been booked for torturing their daughter-in-law for dowry.

Reportedly, a case of dowry harassment has been registered in Muzzafarnagar Police Station against the Siddiqui family. Nawazuddin's younger brother Minazuddin Siddiqui's wife Afreen has accused the family of torturing her for dowry.

In her statement she has revealed that she was harassed by her husband, her brother-in-law Nawazuddin, sister-in-law Sayma. She further stated that, they have been harassing her for dowry.

According to her, last night at Nawazuddin's house in Muzaffarnagar all the CCTV cameras were shut down and she was beaten up.

She is also expecting her first child. They tried to abort her child by kicking in her stomach.

Her statement also reads that : Nawazuddin treated her by saying Arvind Kejriwal and Akhilesh Yadav are in my pocket, so no one can do anything to him.

OMG !!! This is shocking ...if true, which seems more likely ..then this comes under criminal act . So much for being creative people .. kalakars ..leave us out of everything as blabbered by some Bollytards .. This just proves you are nothing different & creating crimes like any common people ..harassing for dowry ! Disgusting 🤢

well, honestly, dowry laws are pretty strict in our country and such complaints are taken very seriously.

Dont know what is true. But i have seen women using this power to harass innocent In-laws too.

I don't believe. Nawaz doesn't even live with his extended family.

Another fake case. Someone who can lie about the brother-in-law makes me disbelieve the rest of her opportunistic claims.

I think it's a fake case.. seen so many fake cases in real life.

It's bad.. sad.. either way - fake or real.. this world is just sad

There should be strict punishment for fake harassment cases.

I remember reading about this guy from bangalore, who committed suicide cause the wife harassed him with a fake case, tarnished his and his parents image in the society.
