I can't get this out of my head!! The lyrics and music is just so so heartfelt beautiful! Sometimes so much so that when I see him singing it with so much yearning I get tears in my eyes.. Ranbir is amazing in conveying the depth of these beautiful lyrics across to us

SAME HERE! The best opening for a song i've seen in ages. I like how it directly starts with these lines and sets the mood. The song has such beautiful lyrics. One can imagine the pain that Ayan is going thru. His heartbreak, his unrequited love. The 'Channa mereya, mereya, channa mereya' sequence is so beautifully done.

its very difficult to choose my fav out of three I thought ADHM is going to stay with me for a while but this Channa Merya has crushed my soul and how!! I couldnt sleep well at night.. the song was on loop... listening to the song I wanted to see the visuals and looking at the visuals I wanted to listen to the complete song!!! MAD MAD song...

Note to myself - NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER again doubt Ranbir Kapoor !!When he said it is the best song of his career, he right !!👍🏼

My song experience was spoiled by fighting "retarded " comments.

I think given his personal turmoil that's been going on since over a year...I can see where his statement of it being his best song ever is coming from. I just feel this is 2nd to Iktara male version from WUS.

I know sooti chaula means cotton shirt or something like that but what is bairagi?

That's an amazing song.But poor acting by Ranbir."Andhera tera maine leliya" there he is trying too hard in short overacting.His expressions are weird and looks vulgar and creepy.

Let me try, I am not very good with these things

Bairag means when you quit all worldly possessions and go above materialistic things of world.

Bairagi means person who has taken Bairag, who has become a Monk.

Bairag is not used religiously, the religious word is Sanyaas.

Bairaag is used when you quit something that you loved, out of pain. Its usage is in love and separation.

So here he has taken the Bairaag and put on monk's clothes ( not literally, but on soul)
