Yes, she is very beautiful!

And of course oozing talent and personality, screen presence!

I find her very similar in looks and personality to an old time Bengali actress, Madhabi Mukherjee, who was in Charulata.

Yes!!! I've no idea how people call large eyes that twinkle & sparkle, a beustiful wide smile that reaches her eyes & lovely gently sun-lit healthy complexion, "average/not good-looking, not pretty." There is something SO very.. LIKEABLE about Vidya's face. 😳 She just looks n sounds like a nice person, crazy thing to say, but I just feel it. Coupled with that excellent talent & one of the most mellifluous voices I've heard, I've NO idea how anyone won't love her. ❤️ She gives the vibe of a very nice, genuine & real person & tbh, that's her main USP in a world of Plastic & Mannequin Glamour & Money. She is intelligent without being pretentious, opinionated without being over-bearing, and witty without being nasty.. All very rare qualities! <3
