Other fandoms on Twitter bashed him yesterday for blaming the first time director. That's the reason he's doing the damage control (Read, apologizing to Nitya) through the tweet posted above.

Asked whether he would do BBD again in an interview after it flopped so badly he had said that he believes in doing the films where his heart lies & BBD is a film he wanted to do from his heart. So though it flopped if given a chance he would do this film again but differently from what he had done .
Though he sometimes goofs up in his interviews but I feel its coz he's too naive.

Sid also wanted to do this film and asked KJo to lobby for him. KJo went to Excel with co-production deal. Now that it has flopped he is blaming those who have more experience like Kjo/Farhan/Ritesh.

I think this was in response to that statement he made about being wary about working with first time director - a thread was made for that IV but not many picked up on it 😆 Also, no thank you to Dharma? Haw.
