Rapper Akon who has crooned a number of hit numbers made his foray into Bollywood by lending his voice for the chartbuster Chammak Challo for the Shah Rukh Khan starrer Ra.One (2011), directed by Anubhav Sinha. And now, buzz is that the filmmaker has roped in Akon once again to sing Tum Bin 2 end credits with Pakistani singer Atif Aslam. Apparently, the rapper will soon fly down to Mumbai to record it.
"Sinha is keen to recreate the Tumhare Siva Kuch Na track from Tum Bin (2001) as it had topped music charts that year. Ankit Tiwari will compose the romantic song to be sung by Atif Aslam with Akon singing the hook-line in Hindi. The video will be shot at a five star vintage hotel in India," a source told a tabloid. When Sinha was asked about getting Akon on board for the second time, he said, "It's too early to divulge details as we are in the initial stages of discussion with Akon's team."
However, that is not all. West Indies cricketer Dwayne Bravo will also be lending his voice for an upbeat number, Jaegerbomb, in Tum Bin 2. The movie with Neha Sharma has newcomers Aashim Gulati and Aditya Seal is shot in Scotland, is Sinha's return to direction after a gap of five years.
