1. Here's what's causing major delay in 'Padmavati' going on floors

Sanjay Leela Bhansali, after running from pillar to post, finally got the star cast of his next ambitious film, 'Padmavati' sorted, but has been facing difficult time as far as arranging finance for his magnum opus is concerned. And that reportedly, is causing delay in taking the film on floors. While his earlier two films, 'Bajirao Mastani' and 'Ram-Leela' were produced by Eros International, 'Padmavati', as per the reports, will be co-produced by two production houses, Eros and Viacom 18, which Bhansali had collaborated with to co-produce 'Mary Kom'. The budget of 'Padmavati' is touted to be a whopping Rs 150 crore approximately and we aren't surprised. After all, Bhansali is known for his penchant for grandeur and making visually spectacular movies. Considering his last films had done fantastic business at the ticket counters, it wouldn't be difficult for him to arrange the finances for 'Padmavati'. But looking at the way studios have been facing major losses and a couple of them have even backed out of movie production business recently, the dilemma of studios in investing Rs 150 crore is quite understandable and obvious. We hope the film goes on floors sooner than expected as we cannot wait to watch this magnum opus any further.

I expected this. No wonder so much fake PR drama is going on in SLB's world.

At this time when films are flopping left right and center, I applause SLB for still going ahead with his 190+ cr project with only one bonafide star Deepu on board.

Which PH would give Slb a budget of 190 crs when their know it will be too difficult to make that movie even a hit. Kaun karwayega yeh movie ko hit ??
