They were indeed wrong but then they get so much of perks that they kind of get used to it.. It is so easy to get carried away when rules are sometimes bent for you that you start thinking that they will bend everytime.. But these people forget, with great power comes greater responsibility 😆

Unprofessional behavior by the ATC and the pilots and not them. People will make up whatever shit they want to make but it is upto the Airline to enforce their own regulations. Just the fact that they tried to stall and wait it out is itself circumventing their policy. People incharge of this fiasco should be disciplined.
