Any time a movie is not made for masses it will under perform...Zoya's movies has a niche audience who loves them...she was the writer for TALAASH too...another of my favorite movies...That DDD and ZNMD and TALAASH didn't perform that well is not because of the actors...but because their target audience is limited...I have watched these 3 movies a number of times and love them every time.

it underperformed, but a good movie I must say 😃

RK has nothing to do with DDD, I 'm just bashing zeek Fav, you know something most people here do

Earlier, we told you how Ranveer Singh might be in Zoya Akhtar's next. Now, information has emerged that Ranveer has reportedly jumped on board for the movie and will start shooting for it after Befikre releases.

The actor was seen in Zoya's last outing, Dil Dhadakne Do, which garnered great box office responses. Speculations had been rife about Ranveer joining the team for Zoya's next, the talks for which had been on for quite some time now. He was spotted outside Zoya's residence recently too. Ranveer will reportedly play a rapper from the slums of Mumbai in the flick. A source close to the actor reveals, "Ranveer will play a rapper from Dharavi, Mumbai and will begin shooting for Zoya's film after the release of Befikre."

However, has also been revealed that Ranveer, who has just finished wrapping up Aditya Chopra's Befikre will soon begin shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmavati.

Since SLB is known for demanding bulk dates from actors, it will be interesting to see whether Ranveer will shoot for both films simultaneously or if he will push Zoya's movie for Padmavati.

I hope Zoya's movie isn't a comedy. I want to see Ranveer in a modern, gritty role.

Anything better than over budget movies for any actor at this point except Salman and Amir, since only these two can somewhat guarantee bumper opening otherwise audience is all about the content and if they liked the promo.
