Arre .. any father would be interested in knowing about his future SIL's current status with his ex. Specially these bollywood types (and especially Ranbir) can go back to having affairs with their heroines, and if that heroine is one of his exs, then you never know. So, that man's concern was probably genuine.

But yes of course, Neetu and Rishi would probably have been uncomfortable answering such questions and it is better to storm out now instead of finalizing the rishta.
